Nostalgia must be in the air! I just picked back up watching Supernatural as I embroider and I started playing Pokémon on the 3DS within the past week.
Which Pokémon game are you playing? I recently played Alpha Sapphire and it was such an emotional and nostalgic experience after playing the original as a child!
For a few different reasons, I too had big holes in my childhood when it came to pop culture media and objects, and slowly filling/healing those gaps as an adult has been well-worth the time, money, and effort!
I miss my Nintendo DSi so much! The fact it had a camera was awesome back then. While the Switch is alright, I do miss the older Nintendo systems that I feel didn't get much time or much of a chance.
i know! it must have been so revolutionary at the time. and i feel the same, i don't even think i knew there was anything after the ds lite lol but clearly i missed out bc the 2ds xl is such an experience! glad it's making a come back now, it deserves it
reading your work is like looking into a mirror. I recently dug out my old pink Nintendo ds which somehow still works, I’m in dire search of a used cd player & I definitely have all 15 seasons of supernatural on dvd. P.S I LOVE the stickers and washi tape!!
i love that :') omg the supernatural thing that was so niche i'm living haha also good luck on your cd player search, i hope you find a good one! thank you for reading and the decor appreciation<33
Although I prefer analogue hobbies, there's something to be said for these old-school style tech devices. I have nothing against Nintendo's etc as long as they're not used as yet another technological crutch. I see way too many children in the grip of tech addiction, and unfortunately many of us adults convince ourselves it's ok because "it's retro! It's old-school!"
And I'm like... errrm, no 😐
Lol! I love that you get so much joy from your Nintendo. I won't be getting one, but that's because I know it would become a time-suck. I seem to become addicted to anything with a screen 😩
