reflecting on september; devouring literature, a trip to oxford, modding my 2ds, when can we wear tights again, my favourite read of 2025, new job fears
Reading this and can feel how much joy these things bring you. I love when people are able to fully lean into what lights them up. I myself have been enjoying reading, returning to what I studied in undergrad which was fashion. At some point I allowed society to tell me I wasn't good enough but I'm finding myself adding it to my fall/winter personal curriculum and would like to be more intentional with the study. The journey matters whether you're doing hobbies or leaning into a career that you're working towards so enjoy it!
aw this was really sweet to read! and I'm so glad you're leaning into your interests more, I think these are the moments in life we will cherish the most looking back. exactly, it's all about the journey and being on the right one for you🤎
after reading this i checked if welcome to the hyunam dong bookshop was available at the library and it was! i just finished reading it and i loved it! so comforting and lots to reflect on
ah i’m so happy you enjoyed it! and yes there is sooo much to reflect on, i’m currently reading it again with a pen this time to write all my thoughts, it’s such a rich story
Oxford looks like the most beautiful place, it's definitely on my bucket list alongside Edinburgh! I love reading about how people romanticise their months and seasons. Also, as a person who has changed careers 3 times, I am all for spontaneous job changes. Wishing you all the luck on your new path <3
I find it so interesting that you loved Welcome to the Hyunam-dong Bookshop. I actually DNFed it because I was struggling. Super glad for you though. I loved this post about reflection and getting excited about the Autumn month - me too! Also, glad that you enjoyed your trip to Oxford - it's my hometown!
oh really! at what point did you stop reading? i think this is a rare book where i actually agreed with all the quotes on the covers about it being a healing and comforting read haha usually i find them way over the top. also immensely jealous that oxford is home to you, i have to go back when autumn is in full swing it must be even more wonderful🥺

I got pretty far in, but just wasn't feeling it! Yes you absolutely should!
Loved the "September is the cloud..." passage, and I too feel the pull to read more this time of year, though "best laid plans..." and all!
thank you! also yes I feel that haha
Send you all the good luck for the first day at a new job!
thank you so much! 🫶🏾
A trip to Oxford sounds lovely! I took a creative writing class there years ago, and it really is such a lovely place!
