"you don’t need an expensive degree to indulge yourself in academic subjects you’re passionate about" - how did you know I was contemplating a degree?! 😱 A timely reminder that I will still be a trained counsellor with a diploma and I don't need a degree to prove anything.
feel being over winter so harddddd i am so looking forward to spring. also would love some tips on enjoying listening to podcasts! i prefer reading and i need a visual accompaniment if i'm listening to something but i think being able to listen to things without looking at a screen is something i'd def like to start doing
omg yes to needing a visual aid that's so me! I'm still learning but I think starting off with doing something at the same time as listening is good, so for me I could *not* play a video game and listen to a podcast, I think in full sentences so that never works lol but diamond painting is a much more head empty task and I feel like it's been building my tolerance (?) for podcasts where i can now commute to work and listen to one. but i think it also depends on the type of podcast! scripted, well produced ones are amazing but a casual chatty one absolutely not i still need a visual aid for those rn lmao. perhaps you need to find the right style of podcast?
