thank you🩷 and it was a gift from a friend so i don't know i'm afraid :( but perhaps you could try an image search? these are the times AI is actually useful😅
I totally agree! It's so easy to slip into passivity. For me, highlighting favorite lines/passages as I read is one way to stay more engaged and focused :)
Really enjoyed this! I definitely feel like I can read and read and read but nothing goes in. I'm going to try your tip of taking notes or creating something inspired afterwards. Thank you!
Candice, one of the things that helped me most when I felt like a bystander to my own life was realizing just how much personal power I had and reclaiming that. I think if you're caught up in the rat race it's really easy to feel powerless and like nothing is worth the effort. And I agree - "Everything is conducive to long periods of mindlessness." I love how you summed it up so succinctly.
It's great that you do nature walks to literally touch grass. I've been walking more often lately and it does a lot for me physically and mentally. Do you have any regular social activities? A book club might be perfect for you.
honestly it's become a necessity now, just had a little escape to the country last week in fact haha. and i don't bc everything makes me nervous :) but i definitely need to incorporate some of that into my life and a book club sounds like a great place to start :')
I would love to just annotate within the margins but i borrow most of my books from the library 😞 a bullet journal sounds like a great idea though! will definitely need to try that out ;) thank you
Loved this. Such easy ways to go about looking at life differently:). Also, completely off topic, but where is that panda mug from? It’s so cute

i found this after scrolling through YouTube for way too long - love the idea of taking notes after every chapter you read!
For any action to be effective, we should crave the output, the outcome of it.

I really like the idea of creating art related to the books you read! I’m going to try implementing that going forward.
i hope you love the process!🥰
