Came back from holiday and immediately bought a journal because they were so many thoughts I wanted to work through, it's only be a few days but I'm so happy I decided to finally give journaling a go!!

I am only subscribed on Substack to you. I came here from your old YouTube channel. love how accepting you are of yourself. You have helped me tremendously in that aspect.

I love you are honoring yourself, whether thru Tuesday posts or impromptu pop-ups. I am always happy to see my inbox with a new message from you. I love your world-view and commitment to real relationships with others and ourselves - omitting the trending internet persona obsession.

Write as you feel darling. Essays, random thoughts - you have made this your safe space where we can come and safely discover a part of ourselves that may need reigniting, through your love for writing.

You have done that for me.

Thank you for the journaling prompts for deeper self-connection - using them now.

you have no idea how happy this comment made me :') i literally don't have words for all the kind things you've said, all i can say is thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. sometimes i feel like everything i'm doing is pointless but your words are going to fuel me to keep going. my heart is so warmed that something i did was able to make a difference in your life and that i've made a safe space here for others too. it's everything i've ever wanted here. thank you for being here <3 <3 and i hope you find the prompts useful!

I was so excited to see this in my mail because I’m also a journaling girlie! I love what you said about how writing slows your thoughts down and passes them through a narrow tube. That’s so apt. When I journal, I find words, thoughts, and ideas I had no idea were in me and I never would’ve discovered if I didn’t sit to write. At the same time, like you said, I also get to organise my thoughts and understand them better. It’s an anmazing experience I think everyone should tap into. I used to struggle with the idea that someone would read my journal up until last year (because my mum did when I was around 7) but I realised it was obstructing me from really pouring my heart out. So it’s important to write knowing that your journal is a safe and private space only for your eyes.

I published a piece about journaling a while back where I wrote about going back to read your journals (I also included a picture of my journals like you did because I think we should all share our stack, it’s so fun 😂) Here it is if you’re interested in reading it: https://open.substack.com/pub/nostalgiatrip/p/hello-youngerfuture-me?r=15o05k&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web

yess hello fellow journaling girliee, it's such an amazing experience for sure and I love that you're already doing it! god i'm sorry to hear your mum breaking your trust like that though, it's truly awful when someone can't respect your privacy. i'm going to check out that post rn and see your journal stack too hehe
