i relate to this ... sitting and staring at a screen for 7 hours is sooo draining :/ i entertain the idea of working at a cafe over the weekends for the physical work and human interaction (both the good and bad!) but glad you're enjoying your retail job so far and have time for cozy hobbies :)
Hiii, I am having similar reflections as I've just started working at a kindergarten. I am too an introvert and I am very tired and overstimulated afterwards, but it feels rewarding and waaay better than being mentally drained. I once thought being a full-time writer would be fun or having my own business, but it would not replace one-on-one interactions that make life worth living, sending love and encouragment!!
this is so sweet thank you! and you've got me thinking actually, I would love to be a full time writer but actually, would I? it's obviously quite a lonely profession so maybe this is exactly what I've always wanted and never even knew! thank you for your insights🥰
It's nice that you can always choose to be a part-time writer. In my opinion, our other professions give us so much insight which can be further turned into writing!!
