little joys:

I’ve been exercising and it’s making me happy (SoulCycle!!)

I found this Substack

I found a meditation/Pomodoro track that really helps me focus (finally)

I’ve been eating bagels with peanut butter and banana!

little sorrows:

My dissertation is kicking my butt :(

It’s hard not getting overwhelmed by that

I don’t have any frozen blackberries in the fridge

I haven’t actually written anything for my own Substack yet (but I want to!!)

What you said about not reading a lot of books but reading a lot of articles, longreads etc >>> The art of reading doesn't solely comprise of reading books. There's more to it and a lot of joy to be found in other mediums like essays, articles, etc and not to mention less time commitment.

"They were right about 26/27 – I’m feeling like I'm becoming more me every day" I feel this so deeply in my soul. I have never felt more unapologetically and wonderfully me than when I hit 30. I'm so excited for what it'll be like as I get older.

some little joys: this Substack (so glad I found it!!), I've found my rhythm in journaling, I took up crocheting, I'm developing a taste in horror movies

some little sorrows: it's cold and rainy where I live and I miss the sun :(

Love to see those little joys. So happy that you’re now a Brtkinstock’s girlie, sounds fun.

Little joys:

- was feeling very low this past week (pre-period blues) but yesterday I finally started feeling decent

- Spain won the Eurocup! It’s nice to live which you finally wanna support and feel proud of lol

- the beautiful weather we’re having! Blue skies every day :’)

- back to being a reading girlie and enjoying my books!

Little sorrows:

- pre-period blues

- lack of motivation towards work

- not having strength or motivation to workout (haven’t worked out in a week and can definitely feel the muscle beginning to deteriorate)

Thanks for sharing with us friend 🩷

Oh I HEAR YA about the clothing sizes and it’s just not okay. A number is just a number, right? In theory but in practice, it can cause so much anxiety and body image issues. They really need to address this in the fashion industry and change the language of dress sizes 👊

they absolutely do!! it took me years to not care about the numbers because they literally mean nothing anymore. still annoying to pick up 3 sizes of the same thing when trying things on though haha
